Raja Ampat

Misool Eco Resort is located on the north western tip of west Papua, or formerly and more familiarly known as Irian Jaya, Indonesia. There are four main islands Waigeo, Batanta, Salawati and Misool, in the archipelago of more than 1500 islands.

In 2002, the Nature Conservancy survey of Raja Ampat's marine eco system, mangroves, and reefs put forward that the islands probably house the world's most bio diverse seas. Confirmed species of coral found numbered 537 which equates to 75% of all known coral species. Fish species found in Raja Ampat is thought to be around 1,074 and a massive 899 were identified during the surveys.

Raja Ampat cannot fail to impress even the most seasoned of divers and with a choice of luxurious dive liveaboards and eco resorts you are spoilt for choice.
